I can’t believe how quickly last month has went by! It’s been busy around here, I guess. Working on more of the basement. Mardson in preschool. Being pregnant And at the beginning of this month we started potty training Penelope.

I’ve been amazed at how quickly she’s caught on! It’s only been a week and a half and she’s already very aware and happy to use the potty. Maybe I have a better idea of what to do this second time around, or maybe girls really are easier to potty train. Whatever the reason, I’m relieved. I’ve been putting it off because I don’t have a lot of energy (and potty training isn’t low maintenance!) and I’ve heard that children often regress with a big life change; like a new baby brother. But she’s been showing signs of being ready to try panties for a while and I really don’t want to be changing two kids in diapers this time around. So we’ll just see how things go.

On another note, it’s been really fun to watch the kids play with their daddy recently. Just last night they got to video-skype with him and it was hilarious to see them crack up at his sock puppet games. They really love their daddy! And I’m pretty crazy about him too
